Liana Eriksen

Liana is a vocalist, songwriter, and Bachelor of Music graduate, who is currently studying postgraduate contemporary voice at the Conservatorium of Music in Hobart, Tasmania. Her vocal style is very versatile and she has been compared to the likes of Betty Carter, Betty Hutton, Courtney Love, and Chuck Schuldiner. She enjoys listening to a wide variety of music, including metal, pop, jazz, and classical. She is the vocalist in Infernal Outcry, a progressive death metal band. She also sang alto in the acapella vocal quartet, Incendere!, performing Christmas carols at Wrest Point and Frogmore Creek Vinyard. Besides metal, she especially loves to sing R&B, blues, Latin, and jazz, and is always interested in joining any projects involving those styles of music. Liana is currently available for hire as a session vocalist, songwriter, sound engineer, vocal teacher, or music critic. She also has future plans to work as a promoter to strengthen the Australian metal music scene, for which she is very eager to galvanise a greater sense of community, particularly in her home state, Tasmania.
